Salman Khan says he is serious about IPL

Mumbai: While the speculations about Salman Khan’s entry into the Indian Premier League (IPL) business, is on an all-time high, the actor himself said that he is seriously planning about it, but has not taken a final decision yet. Salman admitted that he never played cricket, but said he would become a good team owner, if he buys an IPL team. After holding talks with IPL Commissioner Lalit Modi, Salman Khan has showed interest to buy an IPL team during the IPL 4 in 2011. However, his brother Sohail Khan had refuted the claims, saying Salman did not have any such plans. Two new teams will be added to the IPL 4 in 2011.

Currently, three Bollywood celebrities are associated with the IPL. While Shah Rukh Khan owns the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Preity Zinta owns the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP). Shilpa Shetty owns a stake in Rajasthan Royals team.
